Discovery World

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend a day or evening, head to Discovery World. It is located at 500 N Harbor Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53202. This nonprofit science center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of STEM majors. Its interactive exhibits are sure to excite your inner child. First of all, make sure to bring your camera! This museum is bursting with interactive exhibits. Don’t miss the Reiman Aquarium or the Digital Theater, which features movies and other shows. If you’re planning a family trip, make sure to plan ahead and check out the special activities for young visitors, including summer camps and science Saturdays. There are several hands-on exhibits and experiments at Discovery World that will keep the children engaged for hours. You can purchase parking spots for the Discovery World underground parking lot and take the elevator inside. Make sure you keep your parking tickets safe, as the museum will close for cleaning from 12pm to 1pm. During these hours, you’ll find hand sanitizer stations throughout the museum. In addition to this, be sure to wear a face covering or mask. Masks are available for purchase in the gift shop. Another popular attraction at Discovery World is the Reiman Aquarium. Located on the lower level of the museum, the Reiman Aquarium contains exhibits that replicate various aquatic habitats. The museum also features exhibits from Lake Michigan, the Amazon Basin rivers, the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the African Great Lakes. While the museum is not quite as extensive as the National Geographic Aquarium, it’s certainly worth a visit if you’re visiting.
